Let’s get serious for just a minute

In light of last night’s GOP debate in New Hampshire, the following quote seems fitting:

“We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” –John Adams, Address to the Military , 1798

  1. After watching the debate, all I know is that none of the “candidates” appears completely committed to our current problems. I wanted suggestions and plans. Not “check my web site”. Ron Paul, Pawlenty, Gingrich(can’t believe he came across so well) at least had suggestions.
CNN was so left slanted with questions and public questions that it is no wonder we did not get real info, just sound bits. Hope the Tea party get in here with conservatitves and gets a real conversation started. ON THE ISSUES folks is what we need, get your heads in the right game!
